Clara M. Schweiger, 94, of Beaver Dam, died Friday, May 25, 2007 at Clearview Nursing Home in Juneau. Friends and family may call at Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Wednesday, May 30, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and at St. Katharine Drexel Church, 511 S. Spring St., Beaver Dam on Thursday, May 31, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday at church at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. John Schreiter and the Rev. Troy Schweiger will officiate. Burial will be at St. Peter's Cemetery in the town of Beaver Dam, Dodge County, Wis. The former Clara M. Hankes was born on Aug. 18, 1912, in Aurora, Ill. to the late John and Catherine (Lies) Hankes. On Sept. 12, 1936, she was united in marriage with Gilbert Schweiger in Beaver Dam. He preceded Clara in death on Sept. 1, 1995. Having 10 children, Clara made clothes for them and continued to enjoy sewing throughout her life. She prepared thousands of meals for her family and enjoyed cooking and baking as well. Clara was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Beaver Dam and was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis. Survivors include 10 children, Raymond Schweiger of South Dakota, James (Judi) Schweiger of Summerville, S. C., Donald (Margaret) Schweiger of Beaver Dam, Charles (Jill) Schweiger of Sussex, Michael (Mary Jo) Schweiger of Madison, Catherine (Robert) Budde of Beaver Dam, Mary Ann Schwantes of Beaver Dam, Betty (James) Kledehn of Strasburg, Colo., Donna Keller of Charlotte, N. C. and Judy (Dave) Berg of Beaver Dam; 30 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; one brother, Joseph (Audrey) Hankes of Beaver Dam; one sister, Mary (John) Pakiz of Aurora, Colo.; four sisters-in-law, Evelyn Hankes, Henrietta Hankes, Jean Pirk and Bernadette Hankes, all of Beaver Dam; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Clara was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son - David Schweiger, three grandsons, a son-in-law - David Schwantes, six brothers - Ralph, Clem, Alfred "Louie," Francis, John and Ed Hankes, and a sister-in-law - Loraine Hankes. The family suggests that memorials be made to St. Katharine Drexel Parish or St. Katharine Drexel School. Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam is serving the family

Clarence C. Landorf, Sr., 67, one of the last two dairy farmers in DuPage County, died Sunday at his home.
Surviving are his wife, Lillian Modaff Landorf; two sons, George of Huntley and Clarence Jr. of Naperville; three daughters, Dorothy Pacedones and Janet Bumbar, both of Aurora, and Diane Shoger of Wilslow, Ill; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Also surviving are four brothers, Ray, Carl and Rogert, all of Naperville, and Joseph of Lake-in-the-Hills, Ill., and two sisters, Evelyn Brummel of Shabonna and Marion Hansen of Carpentersville.
Landorf and his son, Clarence, operated a dairy farm for 20 years.
The funeral mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be after 7 p.m. Tuesday and after 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Frederich Funeral Home in Naperville.

20715 Coletta M. Frieders, 80, of Aurora, passed away Friday, February 22, 2002 at her home. She was born September 10, 1921 in Aurora, IL to John and Alvina (Schiltz) Spang. Coletta was a member of the W.C.U. Elizabeth's Branch. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia (Terry) Vogt of Aurora, IL; John Frieders of Westland, MI and David (Kimberly) of Sheridan, IL; six grandchildren, Anthony (Julie) Vogt of Aurora, Richard (Andrea) Vogt of Aurora, Christopher (Dawn) Frieders of Plymoth, MI, Randy (Jill) Frieders of Garden City, MI, Katlyn and Ryan Frieders of Sheridan, IL; two great grandchildren, Brennen and Payton Vogt of Aurora, IL; one sister Rosette Franzen of Aurora, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas A. Frieders; an infant son; one brother, Alvin Spang; two sisters, Bernadine Zabor and Evelyn Medernach. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2002 at 9:30 am from The Daleiden Lake Street Mortuary to St. Therese Church at 10:00 am. Fr. 20716 Colleen Frieders 1925-2010 Colleen Frieders, 85, of Aurora, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Meadowbrook Manor of Naperville after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's. She was born March 17, 1925 in Aurora, the daughter of Gohl and Marie (McCue) Hutter. She was married to Joseph N. Frieders on October 23rd, 1948 at Sacred Heart Church in Aurora; they spent the next sixty years together in Aurora until his passing in 2009. Colleen was a graduate of Madonna High School. She was employed as a tailor and a seamstress for many years in the Aurora area. She enjoyed spending time with her loving family, playing bridge and reading. In their retirement years Colleen and Joseph loved taking winter trips with each other. Survivors include her children, Nancy (Thomas) Sowinski of Yorkville, Beth (James) Coakes of Boulder Hill, Joseph R. (Linda) Frieders of Chicago Heights, James A. (April) Frieders of Aurora, Paul E. (Kathy) Frieders of North Aurora, Karen M. Frieders of Aurora and Gregory W. (Shari) Frieders of Sugar Grove; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and two brothers, Richard Hutter, Gohl Hutter; a sister, Lois Kalina.
